Default R8500 vs. PCR1000 for 1296 MHz

I'm wondering which would be the better unit for receiving 1296 MHz. I had assumed the 8500 was a superior radio. HOWEVER, I just looked at the sensitivity specs on the ICOM web site and it indicates the 1000 is about .2 microvolts more sensitive. Anyone know about this? (I am no expert!)

Thanks,
John
