What's the difference for blocked and unblock ?

Usually a "blocked" radio has the 800 MHz cellular band removed. Some units are restorable.

Unhappy Block/Unblock

Years ago unblocked was the rage, due to people listening to cell phones conversations.
But now since most cell phone went digital, the analog unblocked receivers/scanners kinda lost thier purpose.
