Pcr 2500 Question on the cards

Ok I would like to know if the UT-108(DTMF decoder) card and the UT-122(P-25 digital voice decoder) card be installed at the same time on the Icom PCR2500 ? I know that the UT-118(D-Star) and UT-122(P-25 digital voice decoder) can not be installed at the same time...any help would be great

I'm looking at these radios too and what I gather from the manual and option order items is that 2 of 3 avaiable boards can be used in any combination. So you should be able to used a P25 and either a DTMF or a D-Star board. I figure the DTMF can be decoded externally through software if you really want it.

I don't know if you've gone ahead and ordered parts, But the 2500 has BUILT-IN DTMF Decoding on the Primary Receiver (either through built-in HW or may done in the software when plugged in through USB). If you purchase the DTMF board, it is to allow the second receiver to decode DTMFs and allow for remote control of the primary receiver and software functions. I think the function is called Remote Commander.

The software allows you to leave the second receiver tuned to a frequency and through another transmitter, use DTMFs to change radio settings. You can define what you want the DTMF tones to do.
