There are a few of us here , but not a lot. IIMARS is working well in E. Idaho and is under test in additional Eastern Counties. Several new transmitter sites have come on line recently and more are undergoing testing. It is not a very fast process, and although it is a statewide system, each county is implementing its part at their own pace, depending on grant money etc.
The RR database contains just about all of the info that is available right now. I can't comment too much on the Boise area, except that encryption is apparently being used on some TG's in that area.
Take a look at the database.
Scanner Frequencies: Idaho Interoperable Mutual Aid Radio System (IIMARS) Trunking System, Statewide, Idaho
The new five eastern county addition to IIMARS is undergoing testing and is operating intermittently. What is available on this new addition is covered in the database here.
Scanner Frequencies: Eastern Idaho Interoperable Mutual Aid Radio System (EIIMARS) Trunking System, Multiple Locations, Idaho
If you haven't looked at this thread, it is still has some relevant info.

Has Bonneville county/IF City started using it or are they still rocking the UHF and VHF mix of stuff they have been on for the last 10+ years?

Audio is great 95+% of the time using either GRE or Uniden (Bingham & Bannock).
None of the 5 counties(including Bonneville/IF) are operational yet - just testing so far. I am guessing they will be using it within the next six months. Everything is still on old VHF/UHF.

Ya, things changed fast after 700 MHz interoperability became the big thing and grant money was made available from the feds. And there were no TV stations in Idaho to worry about on those frequencies.
There was a system demo last week with people in Boise, Caldwell, Driggs, IF, Blackfoot, Pocatello and Coeur d'Alene all in communication for a period of time on the same Talkgroup.

For what it's worth, here in Boise, the PD has evidently dropped the VHF simualcast as of a few days ago. Fire dispatch can still be heard as well as the Op's channels though.
