Need help with pro 197

I cant program this pro 197? Is there anyone who can help?

Are you using software? It's much easier if you use one of the software packages available. Most of them have a free 30 day trial period. The programming is the same for the RS PSR106/197 and the GRE PSR500/600. You will need the programming cable USB Scanner Programming Cable - RadioShack.com to interface the scanner to the computer.

Im using win 500...followed step by step....loaded the feg...everything programmed fine.....then i push scan on the radio and its not scanning or picking up anything.

Attached is a zipped copy of my PSR 600 WIN500 file for eastern Idaho. It won't help you for Boise, except it will show you how I have everything programmed. Maybe it will help to compare with your programming.
