Question Border and lines

Greeting,
Can anyone advise where a maps can be obtained of border lines of coverage and or area of coverage that the state trooper patrol, handle calls and or the sheriff units in Idaho?
Such as region two covers is lewiston, where pray tel is lewiston to an outsiders?

These will give you some place to start looking. Lewiston is in Northern Idaho. The old Police Call books had a general map of the ISP regions, although it was not totally accurate.

Default ISP Regions

Chris:

To answer your question(s) here is the Idaho State Police regions and boundaries.

Region 1 is the northern most region and comprises the area south of the Canadian border, west of Montana and east of Washington and covers these counties.

County County Seat
Boundary Bonners Ferry
Bonner Sandpoint
Kootenai Coeur d’ Alene ISP Region 1 Command Offices
Benewah Saint Maries
Shoshone Wallace

Region 2 is the next one going south and bordered by Washington State, Montana and Shoshone and Benewah Counties to the north.

County County Seat
Latah Moscow
Clearwater Orofino
Nez Perce Lewiston ISP Region 2 Command Offices
Lewis Nez Perce
Idaho Grangeville

Region 3 is the next one going south and bordered by Oregon on the west and Custer and Lemhi on the East and Idaho County to the north.

Valley Cascade
Washington Weiser
Gem Emmett
Boise Idaho City
Canyon Caldwell
Ada Boise / Meridian ISP Region 3 and ISP HQ
Elmore Mt. Home

Region 4 is the next region now going east and bordered by Custer and Butte to the north. Bingham, Power and Oneida to the east and Owyhee to the west

Region 5 is the next going east and is bordered by Cassia, Blaine, on the west, Utah to the South and Wyoming on the east. Bonneville, Butte and Jefferson are to the north

Finally the remaining counties are bordered by Wyoming and Montana on the east and north, Idaho, Valley Boise and Blaine on the west and Bingham on the south.

Idaho State Police are dispatched from either Meridian, or Coeur d’ Alene each region used to have its own center, but consolidated into 3 centers (Meridian, CDA and Pocatello) about 10 years ago.
