Default BLM Freqs - Idaho - 2004

Bureau of Land Management in Idaho

Statewide - Scene of Action - 173.8625 - 172.775 input

Boise District - Primary Channel 163.9375R - 163.125 input - North Command 163.175 - South Command 163.8375 - Tac 1 163.8375 (south and west areas) - Tac 2 163.175 - Tac 3 164.55 - Tac 4 172.625 - Tac 6 167.15 new

(the Tac freqs might be statewide also)(I think the Tac freqs are used by mobiles only - the Command freqs probably have one or 2 base stations plus mobiles)(in other words - all Tac freqs are equal, but some are more equal than others (the Command freqs)

Anyone else have better info?

Default Boise ID BLM

Hi Peter -

Here's a few more notes to your post.

Link freqs:
412.375 District Resource Net - Lucky Peak
417.225 District Resource Net - South Squaw Butte
417.825 Tac 1 - Lucky Peak
417.925 Tac 2 - South Squaw Butte

The tac freqs are indeed used throughout Idaho. Tac 6 was a new one to me. Unfortunately the new BLM Techs in Boise are not as friendly as the old ones and hard to pry information out of. There also has not been much fire activity so not much can be gleaned from monitoring.

168.650 National Flight Following (downlink on 410.200)

167.950 NIIMS Air-Ground

168.550 NIIMS Calling
