Brand new RS Pro 197 in Naperville

Hi
I am brand new to this but have managed to load all the presets for Naperville and Aurora. Will county is just too crazy so I have left those off for the time being lol (Joliet).

Just wondering why I get Aurora no problem but Naperville PD and such never say anything..or am I missing something?

Probably because Naperville is not nearly as busy AT ALL as Aurora... However if you never hear anything at all, it may be that you do not have the control channel programmed. Just double check with the database.

Thanks... Today was awesome. I guess Napervilled towers have been on the fritz! Today I got good reception. Tally ho fellow scanners!

Naperville has four CC's as most Motorola trunk systems but, they also have a fifth which is used sometimes when they have problems with the system=866.6250 should also be installed with the other four in the RS197....Naperville and Aurora are building a new Harris-MA-COM Provoice system and at last article in the Aurora newspaper will not be copyable on a scanner!!....Also, in V-Folder13 the ILL State Police has the "OLD EDACS" system preprogrammed, that should be deleted and the Starcom Towers installed for T101, 102, and T126 to now hear the Starcom Digital System.....
