Default Triple Trunking Radio Shack Scanner Question

Ok, I was at a Radio Shack recently and saw a triple trunking scanner that claims to also follow the new 700 Mhz systems, and there is no model number on it. Not even on the box.

It's on sale for 199.99 for both the handheld version and the desk or mobile version. Anyone know anything more about this one? Will it do the digital systems or not? Should I forget this one and just save up for one of the BCT396 models?

I am looking to follow 200 Mhz military air action as well as P25 and the LTR systems. I do a lot of work at O"Hare and would like to follow their UHF-T systems and 800 Mhz trunking. There is some P25 on these systems per the RadioReference info listed on the site here.

Any good advice?

I believe that scanner gets 700mgz analog, it does NOT do digital or trunk 700mgz=USELESS for Starcom....

Default Pro-164?

The PRO-164 (it looks just like a PRO-97), RS's brand of the GRE PSR-300, is triple trunking, receives the 700 MHz band, and is not digital. Interestingly, the PSR-300 does not have a model number on it either. The top has "GRECOM" and the bottom has "Triple Trunking" in red letters on a silver background (difficult to see).

RS's price of the PRO-164 is $199.99, and was recently on sale for $169.99; so perhaps what you saw is yet another scanner.
