Post Kenny Chesney concert this weekend at U.S.Cellular colliseum in Bloomington Ill.

Trucks carrying sound and stage equipment already arriving tonight,but no buses yet. Hearing BPD talking about parking for these rigs on car to car. 155.1300mhz./csq. Should be interesting to hear wireless mic.and itinerant traffic!

every country persons crew ive ever seen have been uhf. 451-470 Believe kenny uses uhf. But ive never been that close to his concert or been to one in last few years to catch what hes using but his crew is huge! Let me know what you find!

unless you were lucky enough to snag a ticket before they sold out and are in the arena doubt u will pick up the wireless mics.. Got a chance to speak with the audio/techy guy with Brad Paisley nice guy. He gave my buddy the batteries (barely used) from the pickups used at joes. Brad's guy uses a spectrum analyzer to pick which freqs to use for the show.

One more kenny related tidbit. If u notice he has two ear pieces. he can tawk to audio/band crew and security not sure which is which. Brad has a simmilar setup

Ok,thanks for the tips. I may not be close enough to hear the mics. but maybe the stage/security comms could be heard.

Ken-ay is comin' fer ta play y'all some of his favereet toons on his der ban-jo and billy bob joe smith is gonna shew dem der fans how ta chaw a toothpick and balance a beer on his nose tip while playing the hillbilly anthem on his large potbelly

Good thing I'm not a country music fan,huh? I'm only interested for the tech. aspect of it all. I will have linkin park on my mp3,lol!

Here are the Coliseum freqs I've heard used at hockey and football games:
467.875 251 DPL Concessions
464.550 174 DPL Guest Services
467.900 271 DPL Scoreboard/Contests
467.925 143 DPL Building Maintenance
