Default Will County Sheriff Rebanding

I know the site was partially rebanded last month, but today I've heard multiple units going to post for rebanding; Is this a sign of the site being completely rebanded in a few days?

It seems that all WC's radios have not been flashed for rebanding most likely...The past two days they have made freqy 8-851.7625 the CC freqy for testing...That freqy will most likely be moved up to the # 2 spot in time ...The two new freqys should eventually become LCN 7-8??....

Some very reliable information has the following channels to be the new layout for the Will County EDACS system, this verifies the freqs shown in the latest CARMA Profile.

While there may still be some traffic on the old non-rebanded channels the system should be using these channels soon if not already.

I will try to get to the area soon to verify.

Ch 1 = 851.2750
Ch 2 = 851.7625
Ch 3 = 852.1500
Ch 4 = 852.7000
Ch 5 = 853.2500
Ch 6 = 853.6000

I'll have to plug in my 246T to freescan and see what frequencies come up; since I already programmed them in a while ago.

Will Co has only rebanded the first two freqys and as of now are LCN7 and LCN8...They are in the process of retuning the sites for rebanding freqys LCN3 and LCN4 so if you follow the freqy pattern now those two are being skipped and will be put back soon as rebanded and either 1 & 2 or 5 & 6 freqys will be taken out of service....As mentioned on CARMA the two new freqys will not be used for now and it will be a 6CH system...When its all said and done all six freqys will drop 15mgz....
