why do you say winn county runs Starcom when they always talk on VHF and not starcom????

Winnebago County area

Rockford Police Department and ISP uses Starcom.

Winnebago County Sheriff is on analog still.

On occasion Rockford uses analog

Winnebago County Sheriff has the Starcom capability in their vehicles, so they can listen to it. But they do not use it (key up on it) because of the cost

yea thats what i have noticed with the new scanner most all Rockford is starcom most all Winnebago is the other

i got a good one for Winnebago i wast close to the scanner but i heard a sheriff dispatch to a guy who had a satellite fall on his truck if i heard right can i please get what he was smoking if not oops my bad sounded good
