ok so im programing ducomm into starcom bank ... what happened to West 5, 9, 11, and 13???? also East 5 and 9

also i can use site 115(800's) and not site 101 (700's) right?

from the dupage county page why is bartlett and carol stream now on south 1 they used to be on west 1 with hanover park

also there is a south 1 and 3 ... is there a 2??

It would appear that the new DU-COMM 'Tac' talkgroups (2614-2618) will take the place of the former areawide channels (5, 9, etc.). So far it appears that officers' transmissions on these 'Tac' talkgroups are normally encrypted while dispatcher transmissions have been unencrypted. In addition to these 'Tac' talkgroups, each PD has access to their own 'Local' talkgroup for use as an alternate or car-to-car channel.

The primary Starcom 21 Site for DuPage County units is 101. I believe you'll only hear DuPage County 26xx and 27xx talkgroups via Site 115 if a DuPage County unit affiliates with that site - this would likely not be the norm.

Bartlett and Carol Stream PD are still on UHF '1 West'. Unlike Darien PD, they have not yet moved to Starcom 21 and as such their Starcom 21 talkgroup numbers are not yet listed in the DU-COMM subcategory information you copied and pasted below.

Finally, DU-COMM UHF '2 South' was the same frequency as UHF '1 South' but in simplex (direct) mode. Patches have been used during the transition from UHF to SC21. I'd imagine that retaining the legacy naming convention for their dispatch channels has helped DU-COMM minimize confusion during this transition.

I have been reading the minutes of the dupage etsb and it reads that they are going to be changing the police talkgroups in the near future . I dont know when or what but in the future .
