As of today, 1/16/13 at 1400 hrs the McHenry County Sheriff's Office will initiate encryption upon their radio communications.

And not to high-jack this thread the city of Joliet has turned off there old Analog trunk system as of today 1/ 16/ 13 and are continuing to use there new Starcom Encrypted system , its real bull-%$^*.....

I wonder if this was planned change or sudden move because some units were still going 10-41 on TG 1101 but were told to 10-21 radio/disp. Not encrypting all TG's just moved patrol DIV to TG 1115.Still hearing some towns they dispatch for on 1127 & corrections /court security.

Starting today 2/13/13 looks like all TG's are now encryption (including DOT & snowplows).

Please submit the TG id's that are now encrypted to the database. I'm hesitant to just mark every talkgroup in the 1100s assigned to McHenry County as encrypted are there may still be a few straggler talkgroups left unencrypted for interop/emergencies.
