Tinley park pd sideband frequency

Does anyone else hear Tinley units switching over to Public Safety channel and broadcasting on 153.770 156.7PL Metro 6? Sounds like some kind of patch. Dispatch is heard calling units at individuals posts near First Midwest Bank Amphitheate. Lots of action at the Wiz Khalifa concert!

TP PD is not licensed on that freqy on the FCC....That's the CFD freqy and PL from the old days since they went UHF digital.....

It sounded more like a very faint rebroadcast of a TPPD tactical channel. I Expect to hear more activity later on this week on interop Metro 6. Lots of weekend happenings going out in Tinley this summer.

The 153.770 repeater is now one of the Cook County interoperability channels. It would be available to TPPD to use under the existing license.

heard it last night....153.770/159.450 156.7 5.630 offset.
Lots of echo on the signal telling me its a rebroad of something.\
Most traffic dealing with operations at the Center.
Busy channel.
