Default CSX St Louis Subdivision Road Channel Changes

Posted in Indiana forums, but also affects Illinois railfans as well...

CSX cut over to a new Road Channel frequency effective 18-Nov-2007, on the St Louis Subdivision between Indianapolis and St Louis.

Channel Lineup is now as follows:

160.2300 AAR Channel 08 CSX IB Road Channel
160.3650 AAR Channel 17 CSX IB Dispatcher Channel

Database so updated.

That's interesting as the very closely located CSX Illinois Subdivision has the same Road channel.... 160.2300, but it's CF-Dispatcher uses 160.3200.

Current monitoring here near "CP-208" shows that 160.365 is still the road channel (what's new is that the train crews are calling signals now), and 161.07 is the IB-Dispatcher. Still monitoring for changes down on this end of the St Louis Line Sub....
