ISP Dist 52 is adviising that both east and westbound lanes of I-70 near the 65 milemarker (SR 267) Plainfield exit are closed. 1 St Sgt with ISP was on WIBC 93.1 News at 3:30PM saying that is could be 4-8 hours or into Friday morning before I-70 is open to traffic.

Yeah, I've been listening. What a mess! They mentioned possible fatalities but not how many. Lifelinewas sent to the crash scene. There were whiteout conditions at the time of the crash.

Edit: Fortunately, there were no fatalities. And it is a miracle there were not any!

That would be incorrect. Driving too fast for weather conditions was to blame. Thousands of drivers made it through the exact same weather just fine.

Sorry Rdale, The Indiana State Police said on the TV with a interview with 1 ST Sgt,Rich Myers of ISP Dist 52 Indianapolis Post said that*** weather conditions were to blame at the time of the accident. White Out conditions were present at 2 PM" when the crash occured on I-70 near the 65 Milemarker SR 267. The story that W9RXR posted from The Indinapolis Star said nothing about what caused the accident.

I understand what they said, and am not saying you are lying. I am saying they used the word "blame" wrong. The problem was that people drove too fast for conditions. Accidents happen.
