Question pro 106 cutting out

when i am listening to Tippecanoe Public Safety on my pro 106 all converstions are cutting out. By cutting out I mean i will hear a part of the transmission and then it cuts out for a second or 2 then i'll here the last part. I have a very strong signal. This is an analog system. I have done everything I can think of to program this scanner including putting the custom tables in and I'm still having trouble. Does anyone have any suggestions or have this problem also. I programmed all the data including the tables in manually so I was wondering if that could be an issue.

No real help, but there is a thread running in the GRE Forum that is trying to work on the same issue.

Depending on your location, you may want to put the ATTENUATION on. I've noticed this helps on the PSR-500 I have.

Another thing to check is the squelch setting. I couldn't find anything in the written documentation as far as the setting for trunked systems... in fact I thought it didn't matter. But mine was set "all the way" clockwise as viewed from the top and my audio was cutting out or nothing being heard. Moving the knob back to mid way worked for me.
