That's interesting. How long have they been doing this? Is it only on nights or is it 24 hrs?
I need to enter the D13 TGs in my SAFE-T programming.

I think this was just for the holiday weekend. I heard Lafayette units on 80/94 pulling cars over and using the Layayette TG on Saturday. Now on Sunday, no Lafayette TG heard on dist. 13 simulcast. Not sure what they were doing over the weekend, but I suspect it was a temporary thing for the hiloday weekend.

Thanks, I was not sure which TGs they would be heard on. A few weeks ago I heard D51 dispatches on the D52 TG. In that case it did not last very long though.

Actually, its District 13 dispatching for district 14. Seems that they are using District 14 talkgroups for everyone. Seems to happen on the weekends though. Maybe its a dress rehersal for the regional dispatch coming soon?

Last night I heard D13 & D14 units talking to Lowell post on D14 DISP. Are they going to be using D14 DISP for the entire region DISP? I would feel sorry for the Peru post guys having to listen to all the action in Lake County while they are in middle of cornfields... any ideas?

Same thing happens with D16 and D25. Whenever Redkey is dispatching for Peru, Peru traffic not only goes over D16 talkgroup, but also the D25 talkgroup. One dispatcher is answering both Peru units and Redkey units. She or he has to remember which district they are talking to. I hear them key up and say "25-25, Redkey" and the next time the same dispatcher keys up and says "16-55, Peru". They also use both call signs.

Today I am also hearing D13 radio traffic on the D14 DISP TG. This is the first time I've heard it on the Hortonville tower. I did not hear any such traffic during the morning or afternoon though.

This is the new way of DXing I suppose.

This is what you are going to hear when Lowell radio along with Peru Radio moves to Lafayette Dist 14.I have inside infomation from The Indiana State Police that at Indianapolis Dist 52 that Dist 51 and Dist 53 have already have moved to Dist 52.I have heard Indianapolis units on both Dist 51 Dispatch and Dist 53 Dispatch Talkgroups. At Dist 51 The post is still there but there is no radio and the dispatchers are now driving to Dist 52 at 8500East 21St Street on the East Side of Indianapolis. This comes from a family friend who is a Trooper at Dist 52 that I have known for years on ISP.
