Default Poor Reception

Perhaps it is just my imagination or maybe sun spots. I am currently in Northwest Indiana (Valpo) and for the last few days I have noticed a deterioration of signal quality. This has occurred on all of my scanners. Has anyone else experienced poor reception?

Hmm, not sure if you mean ALL agencies or just one. I remember one time Munster was very poor. I was in my house only about a mile from the PD station and it was a little fuzzy and my portable in my car (at the time) couldn't pick it up.

Finally she asked a PD unit about it, and he said he couldn't hear her on the portable and she said "ya we are on maintenance now" (reduced power) or something like that. Eventually it came back to normal (full power).
