Exclamation WEho's the Motorola Dealer? Gas City & Jonesboro

Hi!
I really need to know who is the Motorola dealer that services Gas City and Jonesboro, Indiana
Please the name of the business or a contact person's name & number?
The Asst Chief said he thinks it's "5 alarm" something but he can't remember. I can't find anything on google for them in this area.
Thanks all!

Thanks, I called them this morning (the one in kokomo) and they said the one in Fort Wayne handles Jonesboro, so I called fort wayne and they agree that they handle jonesboro. So I tell the guy I need to have a pager programmed he says to bring one that's already programmed so he can read it, I say okay then I ask how much will this cost he says $40 are you freaking kidding me $40 to program a pager and he's too lazy to look up the programming, so I have to barrow another FF's pager and drive 40 miles to pay $40 to get a pager cloned.
This really pisses me off.
Something isn't right. That should not cost any more than $15 max.
I mean really what will it take 5 minutes!!

UPDATE: I called back and said let me get this straight...
I said your charging me $40 to clone a pager, $40 for 5 minutes of work...
He says that's right, That's our standard fee.
His name is Steve in Fort Wayne.
I told him that was flipping outrageous and hung up.
Steve can kiss my ass.

ERS pretty much has most of Indiana in a monopoly type situation. They are the ones that handle everything here in Northern Indiana. In my experience they overcharge for everything, and are clueless most of the time. Why do they charge so much? Because they can!

frankcastle is right. ERS pretty much is it when it comes to Motorola pagers in the state. Whoever told you that is is 5 Alarm is WAY WAY WAY off. 5 Alarm deals with SCBAs, Hurst rescue tools, etc. They have nothing to do with communications unless it is putting a mic in your MSA air mask for your walkie. Someone please correct me if I am wrong with that.

Do a search in the back of firefighter magazines or google for pager services, you can send one by mail, probably still about 20.00 but still cheaper.

Maybe a department around there has a programmer?
