Guys,

I need some info regarding the programming of Lagrange, Elkhart, & St. Joseph Counties in NE Indiana. Will I need to mix (program both the old Analog & Digital) or strictly use Digital? I know they have TG's on the SAFE-T and that they have the old analog freqs, but, I was wondering as to whether they had switched fulltime. Thanks!

According to my buddy who lives up that way..

Lagrange has switched for the most part. St. Joe and Elkhart are getting there. ISP in the area is all digital.

If they're anything like they are around here, they're using SAFE-T for the most part. They still keep the analog stuff around, though..

So really what you're saying is go ahead and program the old freqs as well as the digital for now?

I'd have thought somebody up that way would have responded by now, but anyhow..

I'd program both. In the grand scheme of things, it's not going to take that much longer to do. Then you should be set either way, and you can always go back and change/erase/etc the data you don't need..

Unsure about LaGrange County, but as far as St. Joe and Elkhart. I monitor them on a regular basis. St. Joe county uses the old analog freqs. I have never heard any of them on SAFE-T. Elkhart County is about 70% SAFE-T and 30% analog.
