I was running UniTrunker for a while tonight and got hits on 2 TGs not in the DB. These both hit on the Marion (Grant Co) tower. 41984 and 55936 are the TGIDs that showed up. Any idea on who they could be? The RIDs did not show up as hitting on any other TGs either to narrow down the guesses.

Default Floyd County Fire Departments to move to SAFE-T system.

The rural fire departments have decided to move their responding traffic to the Safe-T system sometime in March. They will still be dispatched on VHF (like New Albany City) but will respond on the Floyd County Fire Dispatch channel on the system (DEC 31856). Once the Floyd County Sheriff Department remodels the dispatch center and upgrades their equipment, all fire departments will respond on their respective assigned "ops channel". Lafayette Twp. Ops-1 (31872), Georgetown Twp. Ops-2 (31888), Greenville Twp Ops-3 (31904), New Chapel Fire Co. Ops-4 (31920). This is subject to change and I will try to keep up-to-date as much as I can. There was talk that departments operate on a "fire ground" (direct) frequency when on portable radios so that only incident command talks directly to dispatch but that has been changed. It could still be on the table for some departments.
you can listen to both VHF and Safe-T systems here on the live audio feeds. You can also listen at www.ltvfd.org

Got a hit on another TG that isn't listed on the DB. This on was also hit on the Marion (Grant Co) site. The TGID is 37488. Has anybody else caught this TG or the 2 that I posted above?

What RID's are hitting on those? Might help ID who they belong to.

I don't have any info on the first two anymore due to my computer shutting itself down. The latest one did not get any RID hits on it.

re: SAFE-T, Anderson Site, from Trunk88.

":OSWs: [308 G A40A] [320 G 459C] [308 G 629A]"
"Neighbour SysID (A40A) not in SysID List: discarded"

I don't know what SysID list is in ref here, but I can't believe 7829 dos not know about A40A. These two lines are repeated continuous.

Has anyone heard anything on Noble County Safe-T? Have they switched over to another system or have gone back to the old frequencies?

ScanNEIN i must have had the scanner programmed wrong. So I went back and add all the sites into the scanner and I'm now picking them up. I'm new to the world of programing on the computer. I used to do everything by hand.

So true. I used to be real good at programming without a computer. Now, I wouldn't be able to, I've lost my touch

programming by hand and out of a book used to be the norm. Computers have sped up the process quite a bit

I'm sure there is a schedule, but it's not on the IPSC website like they did with the mutual aid channels.

jwoody062, You will not be hear to hear ISP Dist 33 from Indianapolis. The Indianapolis Safe-t tower will not receive any talkgroups from Dist 33. You can get ISP Dist 33 thru the Morgan County Safe-t tower site.
