Yes that is right all freqs stayed the same just add a zero on the end and I also think its funny we didn't have to narrowband the pagers and they work perfectly fine unlike the radio guys said they wouldn't ha someone didn't make that scam work even our old pagers work fine

I'm curious what pagers you're referring to. I've been told Minitor V pagers will work after being narrowbanded but Minitor III and IV models aren't narrowband capable.

Thanks

Have got people with I through v and they all still work on our disp freq since it didnt really even change anything the only thing we have been told was the v's are able to operate on the in between freqs where u can't program the I through iv on that now available in between freq when an unnamed radio compony said we need to reprogram to recive the narrowbanded freq which we don't and now I think the arlyer pagers are working better than the latest

Question: Do TPD, TFD, and TCSO still use VHF at all, or are they now full time on SAFE-T???

Fire depts are still mixed use and probly stay that way since safe t radios are not real good inside structures and there are some time to much bacground pickup with the digital around the fire apparatus running and use with scbas is pretty muffled at times

Thanks for the info. I'm guessing when you mention the V can operate in between, you mean the 2.5 offset frequencies. We just narrowbanded our Minitor V's last week. Have 2 IV's supposedly that are that we sent in before the Motorola dealer decided they weren't going to do this any more. We are prepared to purchase more V's if need be, but from what you're saying, that may not be needed.

Our problem is the old repeater which is not narrowband compliant is working fine, while the new one that was tried out wasn't tripping pagers for those departments with tones below 300Hz. We'll either need to try a different brant repeater or four fire departments will have to reprogram their pagers because they have tones below 300hz.
