Exclamation Dual Microphones

How can i connect two microphones to a midland olympian radio?

i need one mic to be up front with the driver and the second to be in the patient compartment with me so when i need to radio the hospital the driver can change the channel and all i need to do is ptt

Most radios are wired so that all you would need to do is tie in the 2nd mic in parellel.

All you should need is
PTT
Mic Audio
Ground

Be sure to use a shielded cable. You could even use a stereo audio cable with 3 conductors to extend it to the back.

Most mics switch the audio on/off at the same time as the PTT so that the front audio wont be heard at the same time as the rear and vice versa.
