Default Tait T2020 use as a scanner

Let me start off by saying I know virtually nothing about scanners/radios. I have a uniden that doesnt work anymore and I know how to program in the frequencies and operate the scanner...

That being said, can I program police frequencies to a Tait T2020 radio and basically use it as a scanner. It is only conventional, not LTR...

Thanks

Yes it can be done. But you will require the programming cable and software. I have a couple of these and they work well.
