Hi all,

How hard is it to get a (legal) copy of EFJ's programming software? Does anyone have an idea of cost, if they will even sell it to end users?

Part No. is 023-9998-527 for software and manual on CD, List Price is $350.00. Should be no problem for an end user. PM me if you need more information.

Thanks Squad10. Also, is it one version for all their current products, or is it a one app per radio deal like Motorola?

One application programs EFJohnson's 5100, 51SL, and Ascend Series
Portable as well as 5300, 53SL, and Ascend Series Mobile radios for any
encryption or system type installed on the radio.

You didn't mention programming hardware, but if needed, it's part number 250-5400-104, package incudes PC Configure software, CD manual and a mobile/portable USB programming cable. List Price is $620.00.
