Effigy Mounds

Has anyone ever tried to monitor Effigy Mounds? Any type of P-25 activity? I am always kind of curious on National Parks, monuments, landmarks ect. Actually does anyone have any federal freq. for Iowa that are related to the National Park system? (NPS or National Wildlife refuge for example). Thanks , Mike

For years Police Call listed 169.xx (sorry don't remember it off hand right now) in the back for the mounds and Hoover's site in West Branch. After years of on and off listening to it I finally heard a brief transmission in analog a few years for Hoover. But I have heard the NPS officer on Cedar Co Sheriff repeater more.

Thanks for the info Micheal, I have always wondered if they may just use the local systems. Some of these monuments, landmarks ect. are fairly small, and may only have one person on duty at a time-----so there probably really isnt much traffic. I too have several old Police Call books (even still look at them), from the early 90s up until the last year they printed them. Mike
