Default Dubuque Airshow Audio Stream

If anyone is interested, I'll be putting up an audio stream for the Dubuque Airshow and Fireworks on the 3rd. I've got most of the performance frequencies programmed in. I'll post the link tomorrow once I get things finalized, if there's any interest.

Looks to be a pretty good show.

I'll have all the team frequencies as show in the Monitoring times guide. As well as showboss and local unicom.

Viper East flew over town earlier doing a nice turn and burn. They will be staging out of CR so anyone in the area will probably hear them.

Well unfortunately I don't have a scanner capable of monitoring mil-air, so it'll be scanner some local Unicom and a few known airshow frequencies.

Just go to Dubuque Iowa Police Scanner Online and click on the events scanner to listen in.

The A-10s were on the ground all day. There was a flyover of Viper F-16 early afternoon and a formation of 3 Yak-52 TWs of the Aerostars around 6 this evening. Should make for an interesting show. I heard they were going to run a 3 ship Heritage Flight with the A-10, F-16 and the P-51.

I'm leaving my scanner at home, I have a 16 foot VHF antenna on the roof much better reception. I'm just going to patch the audio through to my cell phone instead.

I've also been messing with a recording program that I made for the scanner streams. I plan on using some of the audio in the videos I take. It seemed to work out fairly well. Here is a sample recording from the test run with the Golden Knights today.

Well I got some bad info and didn't get the airboss frequency programmed into the online scanner so a lot of chatter was missed. The frequency I got was for show center so you could heard the announcer talking back and forth. I combined all the audio I captured into a file if anyone is interested...
