Default 155.4300 Digital?

Anybody know who might be using this, in digital mode? I am in Marshall county, and only caught a brief conversation. My Pro-96 showed the DG mode , I still have it paused on it, and my 346XT stopped and only picked up static. I looked in the database, nothing is showing digital though for that freq. Anybody have an idea? Mike

That is one of the ISP's talk around. It used to be analog but now it is digital.

I knew that freq. looked familiar! I had checked the FCC freq. under the Iowa database, but I did not check the Dept. of Public Safety. My fault, but it doesnt show up in the general Iowa check, only in the DPS. area. Mike

I have never picked up anything on that guess they like to use the old car to car and go James Bond so I can't understand what they are saying in my area.

I pick up on it every once in a while, usually just one side of the conversation though. I think that the car to car is a low power. Most of the time when i do get a digital signal it has a lot of error.

It's not that it is a low power transmission but that the frequency is simplex operation. Since it is not on a repeater...........you are only going to hear close mobile stations................real close.
