Cool Marion or Cedar Rapids Frequencies Needed

Im looking for Marion or Cedar Rapids Iowa frequencies. I have a analog scanner capable of picking op trunked systems, I think it goes up to 956.00 mhz. If anyone out there has freq's I would love to have some. I have searched this website and I want more frequencies. If you have odd ball or strange ones i'll take them.

I just double checked the Linn County Database here on RadioReference and it is about as complete as possible

An "Oddball" that might be overlooked is 159.135 which is the Linn County Conservation frequency.

For years the deputies used it (after 4 pm and before 7 am) as a chit chat channel. I normally don't monitor it any more because I think they use cell phones for chit chat now.

I think you are correct Tim

My old scanner lists show (159.135) as the conservation freq....................They used to call it Channel 29.I have no Idea WHY those old list would not be correct becasue I use to listen to the channel a lot

BUT in my current radio-----------I have Conservation programend in as 151.235 (its programmed with an Alpha Tag) I do know that I heard the Conservation Department Base go 10-7 about 4pm one day last week on my car radio---------------must have been on 151.235. Like I said I don't think they use it too much anymore for chit chat----cell phones mostly.

Thanks
Doug
