Provoice/RACOM ??

Curious if any of you guys who run software, or those who just use scanners, on the RACOM system, have noticed possible Provoice TGs. I know they exist, but is there a list any where in the database? I dont have any software, but I keep getting a TG (15-136)off the Marshalltown tower that I believe is possibly being used as a secure channel. Its listed as Marshalltown Ops. channel, and I rarely have ever heard anything on it until recently. I guess my question is when this TG keys up, their is total silence, then the "ker-chunk" at the end of the transmission (I am assuming here), is this what Provoice would do? I am using a BC-346XT. I have also noticed this on the Iowa law mutual aid channel lately, but only on the RACOM system, not the VHF simulcast. Mike

DEC 2030 for the rest of us is County Fire North Tower. Used to dispatch agencies in the northern district of Marshall county naturally. Seems to be a pretty common thing on all the 'patched' GIDs. More than likely due to a combination of tight squelch and jitter delay keeping the trunked portion up longer than the initial squelch blip that opened it.
