Did you check the database? Department of Public Safety Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference The Terrill or Matlock repeaters will probably be your best bet.

Default Iowa state patrol

Everything in Dickinson County related to the State patrol will be heard on Terril base, Terril LEA, or car to car. However, their car to car channel is digital.

As far as how often they use the frequencies, it just depends. I guess I'm not exactly sure what you're asking there. As far as the car to car channel, to be honest, it is usually just used to decide where they are going to have dinner.

MACH is a computer program that allows for auto vehicle location, messaging, and driver and vehicle registration information.
