Default Iowa DNR

Anyone know if the RR database is still correct for Iowa DNR. Haven't heard much traffic so don't know if they are P25 on their "car to car" channels or just using cell phones more. Previous deer seasons I heard a lot of traffic.

Probably if DNR Wardens are around I would say they are busy in areas that might have been a problem in the past, mainly the more rural areas. Where in Iowa are you?

I'm in NE Iowa. Have listened to them for 30 years. That stopped when they got their new radios.

Do you have the capability to listen to P25 Digital? While have I not heard anything about them using it that is a possibility.

If they have an APX7500 mobile, it's P25 modulation on the same simplex frequencies as always.
DNR Law Enforcement adds ADP encryption on top of the P25 modulation in one of the zones.
