Default Salina Area - buying a scanner.. analog or digital?

Hello all,
I'm fairly confident there are no digital systems in central KS that I could receive had I a digital scanner. But it never hurts to check. Am I correct?

If so, I'm looking at buying either a GRE PSR-400 or a Uniden BCT15. Any comments pro or con on those models?

My goal is to capture the PC virtual control display and transmit that thru Windows Media Encoder to my streaming scanner page. The boys at Arcsoft/Butel tell me I can do that on either radio with their software.

Here's what I'm doing today if you want to take a look... http://justus.addr.com/scanner/ ..I want to improve the page with an up to date feed which will of course require the newer scanners and control software.

Thanks!

Default Salina Area.. buying scanner

Thanks, Bill.. hate to fork out the bucks but may have to now since you said KHP is digital. That's the KCSIS system that's digital.. correct?
Thanks!

Yeah there is quite a bit switching over to P25 in Kansas, and a lot of agencies are jumping on board with the KCSIS system.
