Default SNCO Rebanding

Just heard rumor today Shawnee county is rebanding, for those Public Service workers with county radios it is being done in 2 phases, first you come in and they will program the new freqs in as well as leaving the old in. After they have completed adding the new freqs to all 2,500 radios in the county the new freqs will be added to the control computer. You will then need to come back in and the old freqs will be removed from your radio.

For those in scannerland, all you will need to do is add the freqs to your list of control channels then delete the old ones later if you want. As soon as I figure out the new freqs I will post them in Shawnee County/Topeka TRS.

Nope, I am still waiting to hear myself...If it hasn't been put out to the world CECC (the administrator of Topeka/Shawnee County TRS) was recently taken over by the Sheriff's Office and they have been recieving alot of funds for new projects. The dispatch center was recently remodeled and will soon be recieving a new 911 phone system. I believe this is another project that is coming out of those funds, they just need to find the time.
