Default Railroad Police using 800 MHz in KC?

Union Pacific has a license for an 800 MHz repeater in Kansas City, near Armourdale.

FCC Callsign WNXU775 Details

854.8625 FB2
809.8625 MO

Given the close proximity to the KC trunked system, could this be interops between the railroad police and local police?

Wouldn't surprise me as both UP and BNSF RR Police have talkgroups on the Topeka TRS.

That's interesting...does the railroad police actively use the TRS, or just when needed?

I have never listened to them- but I know they have assigned TGs with "mic clicks" nearly every day.

When I was dispatching in the past, they would come up on there once in awhile when they had folks working in the Topeka yard areas. Most of time you had to call their dispatchers and have their police switch over to talk to them.
