Yep, looks like by this time next year Hutch PD and Reno County SO will be digital 800. Hope their extensive (outdoor?) testing on the state 800 system holds up, even with another site in downtown Hutch. There are many technical errors in the article: mistaking a site at the Courthouse rather that the Plaza Towers and understating the size of the county but whatever. Another County that is jumping onto the state's bandwagon. Hope they don't regret it. And what 800 system hasn't cost many millions more than they initially said?
