Must be a slow news day in Topeka. Also, "Beginning October 8th" & "Shawnee County Emergency Management will continue to sound the sirens for the weekly Monday tests to help the vendor in testing."--they make it sound like it is going to take weeks. I'd hope it wouldn't take more than 2 days to complete this!

We got it done in four full days. With all the horror stories from other folks who narrowbanded their sirens, we were giving them plenty of time to work out the bugs. Vendor told us our VHF repeaters are pretty good and we might not even notice a signal change. I hope they are right. Got them done just in time for the severe weather this weekend.
