Cool change over to digital

When any given department in KS goes from analog to digital, does that department get a new frequency & get a department tag ID # ? Thanks for the time, jbxfire

Yes, they will be assigned a talkgroup ID if they switch over to the KSICS system. The text tag will be whatever the database admins decide to type in. As far as getting a new frequency...no, they will likely be heard on the Leavenworth County Simulcast Site of the Statewide system.
