166.300 / Voice indicating possible lockup facility referring to D Block. Could this be the Job Corps at Mammoth Cave? Will listen further.

The pl for 166.300 is 67.0

NAC 250 suggests NPS, possibly Mammouth Cave ?

The other day I had several hits on 171.2875 and 162.7875, both with a pl of 100.0
171.2875 is noted to be in use as USSS Zulu, but with a pl of 103.5
162.7875 is noted to be in use by USM with 100.0 pl

Are the Marshals using 171.2875 with a pl of 100.0 also?

Anyone have any ideas?

163.075 NAC 300 was active earlier. I don't pick this up enough to confirm a user or even a location of origin. The conversation today centered around finding a certain type of glove that is not normally used.

Monitored while mobile in Central KY.

409.4125 NAC 196, I heard clear voice traffic a couple of times while on Broadway in Campbellsville. Signal was about S-3 to S-4 using PRO 106 with an external 2m/440 antenna. I could not tell the location the traffic was coming from or a possible user.

Does anyone have any ideas on this freq. or NAC?

I have 0 hits on any of the Marshals frequencies programmed in mine. Are they using NACs or PLs or both maybe? I have some of each programmed but never heard anything on them.


Has anyone heard anything on the USBATFE 165.2875 NAC 650? I have 70 hits on it but have never heard anything on it. Sometimes I leave the scanner on overnight and it might pick something up then. Anyone ever heard traffic on this one?


How about this one: 418.750 CTCSS 156.7 I have it set as the DEA. Has anyone heard anything on this one? My scanner says 11 hits in the last week. Never heard anything on this one ever though.

I had 168.1375 with some clear speech but not sure who or what.

Caught a screen shot of this, the signal gets as high as 719, and I think it is encrypted.
