Default Christian County NEXEDGE System

Anyone hear how the new system is working?

I hear that everyone has moved over.

Word I have received is that it is buzzing right along, all is well. Alas, we shan't know until GRE or Uniden find a way to get an NXDN license....

Interesting feedback. Not sure who is posting or if it is creditable.

I just viewed a news segment from Channel 14 (Evansville, IN) that discussed the problems with the existing radio system in Hopkins County & Madisonville. During the last part of the segment they showed a deputy giving a briefing to other officials and the slides on the screen were showing NEXEDGE. I don't know if that is the system they are going with, but I'm assuming they wouldn't be briefing it to their local officials unless this is the system they are buying.

You can view the news segment at 14 News, The Tri-State's News and Weather Leader- - HOME and scrolling through the video pictures until you see one with a deputy talking on his radio.

I hear the City of Madisonville is not so excited about the system and the fire deparetment was filing their own grant for a voting system like the PD.
