Related question in regards to Graves County Fire...

Are all agencies dispatched on 453.1750 and then switch to other frequencies for response/operations? The last several times I've been back home to the Paducah area, I NEVER hear anything out of Graves County except for Sheriff, Mayfield PD, and Mayfield FD...

Any details on the new P25 system (freqs, timetable, etc.)?

Yes, 453.1750 (DCS 032) is used for dispatch and is used for weekly paging test by agencies.

The license is pending now. The repeater output is 151.295 and the input is 159.465. They have two link frequencies for the voting sites. The first on is at the state police tower north of Mayfield on 453.4125. The second one is at Cuba on 458.4125.

I heard the rumor that they did not have enough money to complete the project. Not sure what that means or what might not be completed.

Kib669, You have some very incorrect infomation as far as the mayfield fire ems p25 system, the only above information that is correct is the repeater frequencies, the Sites for the voted receiver sites are not the state police post or Cuba and the links will not be on UHF Links. The links will be made via 5.8 Ghz microwave links the main repeater site will be on the Mayfield EWS new 340 tower in town and both voted rx sites will be in the south end of the county.

And they do have complete funding for 100% of the project

Radios are currently being installed in there ambulances and fire apparatus once all mobile installs are complete the main transmitter site will go live. Then they will begin 2 weeks of testing to determine where the problem areas are for handheld coverage then we will determine where to locate the satellite rcvr's Main transmitter should come live by may 25
