Default Calloway County Upgrades

Calloway County Magistrates have approved $200,000 to pay for communication equipment upgrades for the Calloway County Sheriff's Department. Anyone have information? I think the Murray Police Department's recently installed P25 system cost around $90,000.

Default calloway

I know they have contracted Motorola to do some upgrades to there console, but nothing near that amount. Could be MDT's. Don't think it is a new radio ssytem ie p25 or anything becuase the upgrades to the console dont include anything for that

Comms heard seem to be within PD not with Cal.county. May be means of interop. Comms are low volume
and have strange distortion.

MPD is UHF digital and Calloway is UHF analog ... the only VHF that murray has is their old radios in the cars.

I am not calling your explaination in to question. I am saying that I have monitored that freq., due to the fact my reciever is not digital and I have heard MPD (only).
