Unhappy PRO 106 Programming - HELP!

Hello all,

I'm a total newbie out here. Just picked up a PRO 106 from Radio Shack earlier today (technically yesterday now) before they went off sale and have absolutely no idea how to program it. I read the manual, read a great deal of this forum, then downloaded Win500 and am still completely lost. Scanner lingo is totally greek to me. None of it makes sense to me at all. I'm a cpu dork to a degree, but this might as well be brain surgery. I'm sitting here listening to the weather man and am getting depressed.

I've read how great this scanner is and want to get the absolute full usage out of it. Does anyone from this area have a CSV file I can snag to program this monster or would I be well-served to go back to Radio Shack and have one of the staff program it for me?

Thank you very much and nice site.

Unzip this Win500 file, scanlist 5 (Louisville conv) and scanlist 17 (Louisville Metro P25) can be loaded via Win500.

Also, this link is outstanding for using Win500. WIN500 - UtahRadio

Edit:
Under my signature is a RRWiki Programming Shortcut. This scanner is listed.
