Louisville International Airport - Standiford Field (KSDF) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

See if that helps.

In addition to using the standard Louisville International Airport air traffic control frequencies, UPS also has a number of "company" frequencies. That's where their aircraft communicates with other UPS only operations.

0129.6500 UPS AC MAINT
0128.8250 UPS DEICE1/2
0131.8250 UPS DEICE11
0129.5250 UPS DEICE3
0131.7750 UPS DEICE4/6
0129.0750 UPS DEICE5
0130.6000 UPS DEICE7
0130.6750 UPS DEICE9
0136.5750 UPS IDF
0129.4250 UPS OPS
0131.6750 UPS OPS
0136.5750 UPS OPS
0129.9500 UPS RAMP CNT
0130.5500 UPS RAMP OPS

Whether or not you can hear them is dependent upon how close you are to the airport.

That far away yeah.
You'll mostly only hear comms from the planes aloft too, and most likely very little, if any, ground side comms. (ducting may bring you ground comms occasionally)

No reason you shouldn't be able to hear planes talking to Memphis center too, so it's probably right. As far as air comms go, on the aircraft side of things anyway, you're not that far from the ZME controlled airspace.

If you want to take it further check with one of the guys on here offering free ads-b equipment in return for uploading to their sites. You could listen and also see where they are. I usually see a lot of UPS and FedEx traffic on my box daily.

The FAA ARTCCs have remote base stations located throughout their service areas. The controller is in Memphis but the base station you are hearing is close to you.

Plug in Indianapolis Center (ZID) freqs in too. That's who covers outside of the Louisville area. Some I hear from my place is: 133.05, 121.175, 124.625, 132.525 plus many more. Memphis Center sectors don't start picking up flights until central Ky.
