Default MDT'S used ??

i heard from a fellow ham that corbin and possibly london are useing mdts and not useing radios much ? have they switched freqs. or what has happend anyone from the tri-county area know ? corbin london bville note corbin use to be on 155.655 mhz

Here in Illinois the dispatcher informs the unit to copy mdt for further, but the units originally are dispatched for a call on the dispatch channel. One county here has a fully secured digital trunked system...thank god i don't live in that county.

mdt would be good for running tags and stuff but for routine dispatch traffic ? i dont know
