Default Hopkins Co Vol FD??

WTF is going on with theme? Are they now testing P25? 154.385 I get something but it is very weak so weak even on my ST2 can not pick it up I then found 153.385 It sounds somewhat digital and it is only covers some of the FD's like Hanson and St. Charles. and I can only hear the dispatch side.. When they talk it is silence This all happen like 2 weeks ago out of no where.

There is some occasional testing going on, on the P25 system but nothing major... As far as the other issues you are having I am not sure. Nothing has changed with the old VHF stuff, 154.385 is still the main frequency for county fire and now includes Dawson FD (All FD's except Madisonville). I don't know where you are located but the input is 183.830 and you might be hearing some of that bleeding over, possibly. Last I heard there were some problems with the County Fire repeater and you might be hearing some of the weirdness that the fire departments have been complaining about.
