Default Lexington Police Unit Numbering

Howdy gang....anyone here know the inside scoop on how Lexington PD numbers their units?
I have figured out the following so far...take Central Sector....here is a pic from the Lex PD website:

How I am gonna guess a unit "212a" would cover the 2a area marked above but is there any other rhyme or reason for unit numbering? How about other specialized units? any special unit numbering there? TIA for any info anyone can provide...I am also in the process of setting up a Central KY Scanner Info website and possibly trying to setup a Central KY Scanner/SW Listeners group with a once a month meeting somewhere in Fayette County [/img]

Thanks for the Site!
Now I just figure out what Channel 2 (154.845Mhz) is used for....I am guessing awhile back they moved West Sector units to Channel 5 (156.210) and now Ch2 is used as a talk-around channel...thanks again for the info unitcharlie...

with apologies....

here's the breakdown....
lex pd#1 155.52000 info
lex pd#2 (w) 154.84500 7a-2a west dsp/2a-7a east & west
lex pd#3 (c) 151.16000 central--all hours
lex pd#4 (e) 154.87500 7a-2a east dsp/2a-7a east & west
lex pd#5 (w) 156.21000 alternate west sector dispatch
lex pd#6 154.81500 car-to-car
lex pd#7 155.79000 car-to-car and vox input to wx warning/public address system
lex pd#8 154.89000 car-to-car

hope this helps untangle the mystery.... keep in mind that the system can change at any given time depending upon circumstances...
