Default 460.400 127.3 msu?

460.4000 127.3
Heard: MSU, 532,203,500,499, H Dorm

Monitored from SW Virginia, could be KY, WV, or TN

I seen there were a lot of State Universities that started with M, and in TN its listed as TEMA, Highway Patrol, and statewide interop...

West Vriginia has it listed as a Prison freq statewide in a few locales, but hearing "MSU" im really leaning towards a university.

KY had no state licenses, any ideas?

Default Uls

Just a little FYI:

The ULS does not always update immediately. It takes some time for it to get updates from FCC.
Licenses are issued way before the ULS gets it..

Caught this on scan the other day. 155.010, FM, DCS 732, license WSL862, licensed to the Ashland City Building on Greenup Ave in Ashland, KY, but can't figure out exactly what it's for.

Picked this up on a scan the other night, forget if it was data or voice, but it keeps showing 3-4 bars in a scan. 775.015625. NE Kentucky, nothing in KY, OH, WV, or on Google. Anyone have an idea?

EDIT: Just got static with a CT of 103.5 right after I posted that...weird...

158.970, I know it's used where I live by Morehead State U, but yesterday I heard what sounded like an ambulance clearing a local clinic here, also heard the dispatcher later in the evening, also this morning.

I did some checking and found this

ULS License - Public Safety Pool, Conventional License - WPMC782 - MERCY REGIONAL EMERG MEDICAL SYSTEM LLC

It could be that you're getting some propagation from Paduka, it's not that far away, so it wouldn't be tropo, probably just clouds or something. While it was open though, the ambulance might've exploited their good fortune when they transported a patient there, or you could have a clinic with a common name or one that's part of a franchise. This means, there could be another one in Paduka, so you could've been getting propagation from ththere and they never even came to Morehead.

I saw that myself, I wouldn't think it was from there because the clinic name was Cave Run Clinic, unless there is one there to.

Yeah, most likely, the ambulence was benefiting from some propagation unless of course, there's some kind of linking system between repeaters going on. It would be interesting to know if such a thing is going on.
